Is it an event specific scrapbook, such as one that will chronicle your trip to Hawaii? #2 - What photographs will you be using? Are your pictures stored in acid-free boxes or saved on a computer? As we've said before, you want to keep the focus on the pictures, but the right amount of embellishments and/or memorabilia can help to balance the page. The answers to these questions will determine what type/size of album you will use, as well as the paper and embellishments you will need. Now, onto the good stuff…designing your scrapbook layouts! We know how intimidating it can be to walk into a craft/scrapbook store. The shelves are stacked to the ceiling with beautiful paper, stickers and supplies, but you don't know where to start. Well, we promise that it's not difficult and you don't need to spend hundreds of dollars at your local craft store to make a very nice scrapbook. In fact, you can probably find a lot of what you need at Wal-Mart or Target. So, when you take your children out to stock up on school supplies, bring this list with you and you'll be on you're way.
